Spiritleaf at The Gathering 2020
Between the snow-capped Slate Range of the Rocky Mountains, is the world-famous town of Banff. Every winter business leaders from around the globe converge for the most epic, must-attend business summit in North America. Learning from and celebrating the leaders behind some of the world’s most cult-like brands is at the heart of this event. This year, The Gathering featured many recognizable brands from across all industries including companies like Hot Wheels, Doritos, Spotify, Coca-Cola, ESPN and more.
For the third year, Spiritleaf has had the opportunity to attend and participate along with the most celebrated business leaders. Our team is always grateful to learn secret knowledge on branding, marketing, building culture and connecting with customers from the most influential business, marketing and brand decision-makers.
As the official cannabis retail partner of this year’s event, our Banff location was pleased to host an in-store event featuring reps from licensed producers such as Sundial Growers, Canopy Growth (Tweed) and Tantalus Labs on day one of The Gathering. We also offered a shuttle that ran from the Fairmont Banff Springs with a stop at the Spiritleaf store, for event attendees. Allowing Spiritleaf to share our joy and our knowledge of cannabis with visitors of all kinds.
During the Friday ‘Sessions’ panel Spiritleaf’s President & CEO, Darren Bondar shared his experience about staying true to the pioneers of cannabis culture while also welcoming new consumers and integrating into the local communities. Crediting this success to the human energy that Spiritleaf has cultivated, helping propel the franchise to be Canada’s top recreational cannabis retail brand.
