Health Committee to begin Cannabis Act hearings next week
Five full-day sessions are planned to discuss Bill C-45, the Liberals’ legalization bill in the week prior to the House returning from a summer break.
The government’s legalization bill, the Cannabis Act, will be the topic of discussion at a special week-long health committee hearing starting next Monday, Sept 11. The House Standing Committee is where review of every aspect of the bill will occur, outside of the debate of the often raucous form of debate and grandstanding in the House.
