Celebrating the Best of Alberta
Spiritleaf is a cannabis retailer that is proud of its Canadian roots!
To showcase our pride, we have created something special. In collaboration with local artist Cydney Connell, we’ve created our own series of collectable art celebrating some of the best attractions in Alberta. Learn more about this province and the Spiritleaf stores that are located there by reading below.
Alberta is found to the east of British Columbia and west of Saskatchewan and features expansive prairie land and boreal forest. Its main cities include Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer and Lethbridge. Along the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains, you will find three distinguished national parks in Waterton, Banff and Jasper. This region is known for its short, cool summers and long winter periods, which are ideal for a wide range of mountain sports.
There is so much to see and do in Banff, a resort town that is completely surrounded by the Canadian Rockies. Tour the world-famous Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, which was opened back in 1888. Take a dip in the hot springs or get a bird’s-eye view of the town by riding the gondola. Enjoy numerous outdoor actives at any of the surrounding lakes, canyons, or ski hills. The main street features a vibrant food scene and many local boutiques for tourists to explore.
Visit this Spiritleaf location in Banff at 203B Bear Street, on the same block as the Canada House Gallery.
Take a drive on the Columbia Icefields Parkway, a double-lane highway linking Lake Louise and Jasper, to experience 232 kilometres of picturesque mountains, massive glaciers and turquoise coloured lakes. Some of the highway’s main attractions include the Columbia Icefield Skywalk, Sunwapta Falls and Athabasca Falls. All visitors must purchase a valid national park pass to drive the Icefields Parkway.
Enjoy the small-town charm of Jasper, a community considered to be the commercial centre of the park. With a unique selection of restaurants, shopping and accommodations including rustic log cabins, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Experience 11,000 square kilometres of premium night sky viewing, as the park includes one of the largest Dark Sky Preserves. Don’t miss seeing the waterfalls at Maligne Canyon or Maligne Lake, an area said to be one of the most photographed places in the Canadian Rockies.
In Jasper, find this Spiritleaf store at 618 Patricia Street.
Located near the southeast boundary of Banff, at the edge of Kananaskis Country is the town of Canmore. This tourist spot offers plenty of unique dining, cafes, boutiques, art galleries and much more. With quick access to surrounding lakes, hiking and biking trails. Pedestrians can also enjoy the scenic boardwalk that runs alongside Policeman’s Creek, right in the center of town.
This Spiritleaf store is located at 117, 302 Old Canmore Road, in The Shops of Canmore mall off Highway #1.
Spiritleaf is genuinely excited to offer cannabis retail locations in some of Canada’s most popular tourist destinations and to be part of this country’s amazing history.
