LivRelief Transdermal CBD Cream
LivRelief Transdermal CBD Cream Product Review
Producer: United Greeneries Ltd.
Brand: LivRelief
Labelled as: 0.2 mg/g of THC and 5 mg/g of CBD (with a total of 250 mg of CBD)
Species/details: Blend
Format: Cannabis-infused cream (topical)
Rated 1 (low score) to 5 (high score)
Packaging/Weight: I’ll rate this category a 4.5. This CBD cream is sold in a small plastic container with the required government warning and stamps. The label has basic information and shows the cream was packaged in March of 2020, which was some time ago.
Look: I’m giving this a 5. The topical is a light yellow colour; it’s very thick and opaque, absorbing quickly into the skin, leaving a subtle shimmer with no tacky or greasy residue.
Smell: I will give this a 4.5. This cream smells a bit sweet and musky with no obvious aroma of cannabis. The label shows the topical contains both fruity and herbal extracts, which are responsible for the earthy scent. The producer used non-cannabis-based terpenes, creating a mild and natural scent.
Taste: Do not consume this product. *Use only as directed.
Comments: Transdermal is a term that refers to a specific method of delivery, in the form of a patch or ointment. It’s a process that delivers active ingredients through the skin and into the underlying tissue. This CBD-dominant transdermal cream is made with Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) seed oil, which only means there is little to no THC. Because the topical is a CBD dominant product, it is considered to be non-intoxicating.
There are many ingredients listed on the label, so it’s not clear if this topical is all-natural. Information online states this topical is designed for application around muscles and joints. Using Delivra technology, United Greeneries Ltd. has created a cream that penetrates deeply and offers a controlled release of active ingredients. It is one of the more expensive topicals in this region but is a quality product overall.
Grow Notes: There is no strain-specific information available for this product. However, the cannabis is produced in a state-of-the-art facility in The Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, using fresh water and zero pesticides.
