Packaging/Weight: I’ll give this category a 4.5. This CBD oil comes in a small, neutral-coloured box that has all the government labels and stamps. Inside is a small plastic childproof bottle with a dosing syringe. There is a user-friendly dispensing cap included, for less mess. The product was packaged in Aug 2020, which is acceptable.
Look: I’ll rate this a 5. The CBD oil is a very light yellow, almost clear colour and has no particles or plant materials seen. The liquid inside the bottle is fairly fluid with a lower viscosity.
Smell: I’m rating this category another 4.5. There is no noticeable odour of any kind. The terpenes in this product have been removed to produce an odourless and taste-free cannabis oil.
Taste: I am rating this another 5. It is neutral in flavour with no cannabis detected, which is an ideal quality when ingesting cannabis products (particularly if you are a new consumer). The product has a bit of a heavy sensation when swallowed because it is oil-based.
Comments: This product is made by infusing cannabis into medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) oil for oral consumption. It is a type of saturated fat typically found in coconuts and is technically processed faster within the body compared to long-chain triglycerides, like safflower oil, providing better overall absorption.
